I haven't really done much to this since I got it. I trim it a little but really I'm just waiting for the trunk to thicken.

It's not uncommon for bougainvillea to lose their leaves over winter. I lost the last 20 of so leaves one winter day when the wind blew them right off. Here you can see the tree finally budding with the onset of spring.

Finally! My tree is flowering again. This time the flowers are not washed out but are a beautiful colour.

This tree has exploded with flowers now that it's Spring. The moss at its base is also far too thick, thereby keeping the soil too wet and risking the health of the roots

The flowers have a pink tint and aren't as vibrant as previous years. Not quite sure why.
