We married in 2006 and live in Sydney with our daughter Eve and cat Miso Ramen. Sydney has always been our home, which is a bit boring but it's such a great place to live and we love it.

This Knoppermann website is maintained by Alex but the photos are jointly ours.

A bit about Alex: "This website is one of my many hobbies. I've always liked photography but have never done a course (obviously!), which is right up there on my list of things to do when I've finished my PhD in 2013.

A bit about Danielle: "I'm an editor and writer (and therefore slightly uncomfortable with quoting myself). I'm taking a year away from work at the moment to look after our baby daughter Eve – which is mostly fun with the occasional episode of boredom. I have far fewer interests than Alex – food, books, trash TV and, currently, long walks in the park."
